Description
Our cleint is looking fo a Sr. Business Analyst - LMS will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to optimize, administer, and improve Learning Management System to support employee learning and development initiatives.
Overview:
This role combines business analysis, system configuration, reporting, and training responsibilities within a rapidly evolving HR/learning environment.
You will translate business needs into system functionality, manage LMS content and data, develop training and support materials, and drive adoption of learning technologies across the organization.
Must Have's:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Human Resources, Learning & Development, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in a business/system analyst role with exposure to LMS administration OR combined experience in LMS/learning operations.
- Demonstrated experience with one or more Learning Management Systems.
- Strong proficiency with reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) and comfort with data extraction, manipulation and visualization.
- Experience with systems integration, APIs, or HRIS platforms
- Experience with user acceptance testing (UAT), QA processes and system configuration best practices.
Responsibilities:
Learning Management System Administration & Optimization
- Serve as LMS subject-matter expert and primary point of contact for LMS configuration, updates, workflows and troubleshooting.
- Maintain, organize, and enhance the LMS catalog, learning objects, course metadata and user structures.
- Perform data audits and take corrective actions to ensure LMS data integrity and accuracy.
Business Analysis & Systems Support
- Elicit, analyze, document and validate business requirements related to learning systems and processes.
- Work with stakeholders to identify LMS improvements and integrate business process optimization with system enhancements.
- Validate new features and releases; test LMS configurations and report findings.
Training, Documentation & Change Management
- Create, update and deliver training content (e.g., quick reference guides, videos, instructor-led and virtual training).
- Facilitate training workshops and end-user support sessions that improve adoption and proficiency.
- Contribute to communications and change management plans to support LMS improvements and rollouts.
Reporting & Analytics
- Produce and analyze LMS reports to track usage, compliance, learning trends and key performance indicators.
- Present insights and recommendations to HR, talent development and business leaders.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Build strong relationships with business units, HR partners and technical teams.
- Lead or participate in cross-functional meetings to align learning strategies with business objectives.
