Sr Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to ensure security, availability, reliability, scalability, and high performance of mission-critical Government of Canad

Our valued public sector client is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to ensure security, availability, reliability, scalability, and high performance of mission-critical Government of Canada applications.

Tasks:

• Work with the engineering team to design and build an auto-scalable, resilient and fault tolerant infrastructure as a code running containerized microservice applications for our Web and Mobile platforms
• Develop CI/CD pipelines as a code to for automated software delivery from Development through Testing and Production environments while achieving CI/CD, rolling and blue-green deployments
• Leverage monitoring, logging, reporting and analytics tools to analyze and troubleshoot complex problems
• Ensuring the reliability and sustainability of business applications by optimizing, monitoring, and automating deployment, support, and sustainment activities
• Providing oversight and guidance on application sustainability to software development teams from planning though implementation and operations
• Maintaining close relationships with DevOps teams, business users, architects, cloud operations and infrastructure teams

Must-haves:

• 5+ years of experience in configuration management and provisioning, using Ansible and Terraform
• 3+ years' experience as an SRE (site reliability engineer) in a Cloud/Hybrid and DevOps environment
