Our Valued Public Sector Client is seeking a Senior Top Secret Storage Architect to design, implement, and maintain the enterprise storage hardware, operating systems and storage running on the SAN & NAS & Linux.

Must Haves:

• Storage Architect {10+ years}
• Hitachi Storage equipment (VSP, AMS, HUS, and G-series platforms) - {5+ years}
• SAN {15+ years}
• Pure Storage platforms (FlashArray (M-series, X-series) and FlashBlade) {5+ years}
• SAN storage in support of virtualized processing environments (e.g., VMware, KVM, OpenStack, RHEV) {5+ years}

Responsibilities:

• Provide storage architecture analysis and strategic guidance to technical subject matter experts on storage platform design, capacity planning, technology roadmaps, modernization initiatives, and architectural standards.
• Analysis and troubleshooting of the storage infrastructure deployed into an operational/production environment;
• Monitor system activity, tune performance to match business objectives and maintain the storage infrastructure deployed into an operational/production environment;
• Investigate problems that arise with the storage platforms and propose solutions;
• Assist other operational teams in the troubleshooting of problems that arise with corporate critical services that may impact storage services;
• Setup, configuration, problem analysis, administration and management of multiple storage technologies;
• Life Cycle Management (LCM) of critical storage units and migrate to the existing SAN/NAS infrastructure and advise throughout the system administration life cycle from a life cycle management and service improvement perspective;
• Assist with the development and implementation of a storage services strategy to support business planning, capacity management, technology lifecycle management, and resource forecasting over a three-year planning horizon.
• Integrate switches within our SAN Storage environment;
• Troubleshoot switch processes, error messages, commands and diagnostics;
• Provide detailed risk management guidance and develop plans for the Enterprise Storage environment, including IT trending and capacity management.
