Our client is seeking a Senior Systems Integration and Hardware specialist to lead the integration of hardware (sensors, cameras, etc.) with IT/OT systems and cloud platforms. This person will bridge the gap between digital, physical, and operational environments, ensuring seamless connectivity, reliability, and performance across multiple platforms.

Must Have:

• Proven experience with systems integration, hardware deployment, and industrial networking (IT/OT).
• Hands-on expertise with devices such as sensors, PLCs, smart cameras, edge computing hardware, and related protocols.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Experience working within secure, regulated, and collaborative industrial environments.
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field (advanced degrees considered an asset).

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement architecture for technology applications, ensuring robust connectivity between field hardware and enterprise/data center/cloud environments.
• Oversee deployment, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance of hardware, collaborating with IT, OT, cybersecurity, and site teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to devices, data acquisition, network segmentation, and protocol interoperability.
• Implement best practices for system reliability, data integrity, and cybersecurity within converged environments.
• Support technology roadmap development by evaluating emerging hardware solutions and integration frameworks.
• Document setups, network diagrams, and changes to maintain strong operational standards and knowledge transfer.
