Our public sector client is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to lead the operationalization of Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Google Workspace, and Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments

Candidates can be 100% remote in Canada. 37.5 hour work week.

Must haves:

• 4+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator managing Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Workspace administration (account migration and onboarding)
• 4+ years' of experience with GCP and AWS resource management, IAM roles, billing, and organizational hierarchy.
• 2 years' of experience with SSO and identity federation, particularly integrating Google Workspace with Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) and AWS IAM
• Certifications in: Google Cloud Certified (Professional Cloud Architect) or AWS Certified Solutions Architect

Nice to haves:

• Experience with Azure
• Excellent Written and Verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Directory Sync (GCDS), EntraID, and AWS Directory Service
• Knowledge of PowerShell, Python, or other scripting languages for automation and reporting
• Strong customer service skills

Responsibilities:

• Our client is seeking a seasoned professional to help operationalize and manage our Google Workspace, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and AWS environments. This role will be primarily focused on managing our Google Workspace tenant and AWS Tenant, ensuring operational targets are met and maintaining governance and audit requirements.
• This is a hands-on role that requires deep expertise in managing organizational Google Workspace, Google Cloud, and AWS, with a strong focus on operational excellence, security, scalability, and interoperability within enterprise or public-sector environments. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition and ongoing operational excellence.
