Our client is looking for a Senior Solution Architect to lead the technical modernization, validate upgrade options, define the target .NET architecture, and guide modernization of legacy MVC components for a (ROVER) system upgrade.

Must-haves:

• Senior‑level experience as a Solution Architect on .NET modernization or upgrade projects.
• Proven experience upgrading systems from ASP.NET MVC 5 / .NET Framework 4.x to modern .NET (Core/6/7/8).
• Hands‑on experience planning and executing legacy refactoring, including identifying components that must be re‑written.
• Experience designing solutions involving complex data models, large datasets (1M+ records), and high‑volume batch processing.
• Deep knowledge of:
• ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, and API‑first architectures
• Entity Framework 6 and EF Core migration strategies
• Authentication & authorization modernization (Identity/OWIN modern Identity)
• On‑premise infrastructure, Windows Server, and SQL Server environments
• Logging, monitoring, DI frameworks, and performance optimization
• Experience with SSRS and reporting integrations within .NET applications.
• Ability to design architectures that enable future enhancements
