Senior SharePoint Business Systems Analyst to support the migration to and optimization of SharePoint Online and related M365 products

Our client is seeking a Senior SharePoint Business Systems Analyst to support the migration to and optimization of SharePoint Online and related M365 products

Initial contract goes till end of March 2026 with possibilities of renewals. Hybrid model in Vancouver 2 days/week on-site (Tuesdays and Thursdays). 35 hours/week.

Must Have:

• 3+ years of SharePoint Online (365) implementation; site collections, sites, libraries, and lists
• 3+ years of Business Analysis - elicitation and understanding of business needs
• Flexibility and adaptability to follow established processes.
• Analytical thinking and resourcefulness.
• Ownership and accountability.
• Sense of urgency with effective time management and multi-tasking.
• Excellent communication skills with stakeholders at all levels (both written and verbal).
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and communicate effectively with both business and technical teams.

Nice to Have:

• Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI - including Power Query and DAX).
• User adoption (developing user guides, training materials, conducting training sessions).
• Customization/configuration (Power Apps, JSON).
• Quality assurance (test plans, test cases).
• Compliance, retention, and data loss prevention in M365.
• Technical scripting (REST API, PowerShell, PnP).

Office Presence and Availability:

1. For all candidates:
2. In the office for the first 4 days of onboarding
3. 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Pacific Time, including a 1-hour non-paid lunch break
4. For local candidates only, onsite 2 days per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays)
5. For out of province candidates only, to be able to come to the office once a month on a Thursday at your expense (including the first 4 days of contract onsite)
