Senior ServiceNow Employee Center (EC) Pro Developer to support the end-to-end configuration, development, and operational support for the ECPro platform


1 year contract. Hybrid work model (2 days a week on-site) in Ottawa, Montreal, or Vancouver


Our client is looking for a ServiceNow Developer with experience developing within the EC Pro environment. This service covers end-to-end configuration, development, and operational support for the ECPro platform, including personalized intranet experiences, reusable UI components, scripts, flows, and fully documented scoped applications. It includes different integrations such as SharePoint connectors, embedded Power BI dashboards, Viva Engage touchpoints, and supporting security artefacts.


Responsibilities:

Platform Configuration & Development

  • Configured ECPro pages and topic taxonomy
  • Personalized intranet landing pages
  • UI Builder components and widgets
  • Search and navigation configuration
  • Scripts and flows
  • Scoped application components
  • Technical documentation
  • Reusable components

M365 Integrations

  • SharePoint content integrations and connectors
  • Embedded Power BI dashboards
  • Viva Engage integration points
  • Security and access configuration artefacts

Custom & Enterprise Integrations

  • API integration flows
  • Integration documentation
  • Error handling and monitoring configuration

Operations & Support

  • Incident and defect fixes
  • Release and upgrade support artefacts
  • Health check outputs
  • Updated technical documentation

Governance & Collaboration

  • Technical design inputs
  • Estimates and implementation approaches
  • Architecture alignment notes


Must have Skills:

  • 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience
  • 2+ years supporting Employee Center / Employee Center Pro or enterprise portals (preferred)
  • ServiceNow platform configuration and development (JavaScript, Flow Designer, UI Builder)
  • ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, Employee Experience)
  • Employee Center Pro configuration (pages, topics, navigation, personalization)
  • Integration with Microsoft 365 services:
  • SharePoint (content & documents)
  • Power BI (embedded reports/dashboards)
  • Viva Engage (employee communications)
  • REST APIs and ServiceNow integration capabilities (e.g., IntegrationHub)
  • Troubleshooting, L3 support, and upgrade-safe development practices


Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience with enterprise or public-sector intranet solutions
  • Experience integrating custom-built or legacy applications
  • Understanding of digital workplace / employee experience principles
  • French and English bilingualism
