Our client is seeking a Senior Secret Cleared C/C++ Developer to support the development of full-stack applications for a public sector client.

Initial 9-month contract with possible extension, Hybrid work model (2 days a week on site) in Ottawa, ON.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust full-stack solutions using C and/or C++ in complex, high-security environments.
• Apply deep knowledge of integration and design patterns to architect scalable and maintainable systems.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support.
• Implement and enforce security by design principles, ensuring all code adheres to modern security standards and best practices.

Must Have Skills:

• Government of Canada Secret clearance
• 8+ years experience in C and/or C++ Development experience
• Experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL databases
• Experience within the federal or defense industry
• Knowledge of security and security by design principles.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Python or Typescript development experience
