Our valued public sector Client is looking, a Senior Secret cleared Business System Analyst with experience in implementing processes, information flows and interface improvement initiatives in support of the service support and delivery of IT infrastructure.

The Public sector client is looking to align their Program of Change initiative with the International Service Delivery Transformation initiative, to create synergy between the two initiatives as they share the same pool of rotational staff.

They plan to Strengthen client relationships and enhance service excellence culture leveraging digital practices and innovations. Improved Client services: service agreements, service standards, client satisfaction, client engagement, service culture, innovative service offerings.

Tasks, But not limited to
  • Develop and document detailed statements of requirements for proposed recommended alternatives to address business improvement requirement in support of the implementation of the service support and delivery of IT infrastructure and operations support capability for their digital business;
  • Perform business analyses of functional requirements to identify data, information, procedures, and decision flows, define gaps and improvements to current practices and develop gap closure and improvement initiatives and plans;
  • Evaluate existing procedures and methods, identify and document items such as database content, structure, application subsystems, and develop data dictionary to support IT service support and delivery functions, including service offerings and catalogue, service request fulfillment, incident, problem, change management and deployment, and continuous improvement aligned to the service support and delivery of IT infrastructure. assets and operations support capability for their digital business;
  • Assess the quality and completeness of service support and delivery of IT infrastructure and operations support capability data, information, and knowledge bases to ensure operational reporting, business analytics and continuous improvement of processes and performance;
  • Assess the adequacy of reporting, business intelligence and analytics tools, of the effectiveness of data and information repositories, of information management practices, processes, roles, and responsibilities;
  • Define and document interfaces and hand-off criteria of manual and automated operations within application subsystems, to external systems, and between new and existing processes and systems to enable the service support and delivery of IT infrastructure and operations support capability for their digital business;
  • Identify candidate business processes for modification, re-design or automation, prototype potential solutions, provide trade-off information, suggest recommended courses of action, and plan the deployment of improvement initiatives;
  • Identify and analyse IT controls, governance, contracts and service management agreements, procedures, and cloud services to define improvement requirement and propose initiatives for enhanced performance;

Must have:
  • Secret Level Clearance (Level 2)
  • 10 years as a Business Systems Analyst
  • 5 projects completing Process Reengineering , Prototyping, Trade- off information, Automate processes
  • IM/IT related certification in either Service Management (e.g. ITIL) or Project Management (e.g.PMP).
  • University Degree or College Diploma

Nice to Have:
  • 8+ years in IM/IT Business Improvement
  • 8+ years identifying database content, structure, application subsystems, and data dictionaries
  • 8+ years experience in interfaces and hand-off criteria of manual and automated operations
