Our valued public sector client is in need of a Senior, Enhanced Reliability cleared, SAP BASIS consultant to maintain and enhance a Departmental Financial Management System in the public sector. The objective of this requirement is to maintain and enhance the client's implementation of the applications, information and technology infrastructure needed to support the management and administration of the Department. To this effect, support services are required to maintain and enhance the Departmental Financial Management System (DFMS), which is on the SAP software.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  1. Install, monitor, upgrade and maintain SAP hardware and software components working with Project Managers, technical resources, developers, and clients/stakeholders to maintain and improve software performance;
  2. Install, configure, build, test, and document the necessary SAP components and the required infrastructure components for the projects identified;
  3. Analyze and propose solutions to implementation strategies;
  4. Apply problem solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems;
  5. Ensure timely and reliable system administration procedures, such as backup and/or recovery; and
  6. Analyze system performance and recommend improvements.
