Our client is looking for a Senior Project Manager with strong financials and governance to lead multiple upgrade lifecycle projects working with third party vendors

This role requires you to be onsite 3 days/week in Calgary or Edm

Must Haves:

• 10+ years' experience as a Project Manager, leading a variety of technology projects (software development, upgrades, system integrations, and enterprise system implementations)
• Experience with MS Teams and O365 tools, MS Project, reporting tools such as Power BI and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with both Waterfall and Agile project delivery methodologies
• Experience working with a Managed Service Providers; ability to manage third-party vendors including SOW's and contracts

Responsibilities:

• Manage project budgets, forecasts, accruals, and variance reporting with strong financial discipline.
• Oversee third‑party vendor SOWs and work authorizations, tracking delivery against milestones and outcomes.
• Follow established processes to engage and manage Managed Service Provider. Demonstrated experience working on projects for companies governed by IFRS
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams, including technical, OCM, business partners, and external vendors, to ensure integrated and effective delivery.
• Balance technical implementation with operational business processes to deliver measurable business value.
• Ensure appropriate project resourcing in collaboration with Delivery Assurance and functional business teams
• Partner with Project Sponsors and key stakeholders to define project charters, objectives, and success measures.
• Build and maintain credibility with executives, steering committees, and delivery teams.
• Present clear, concise project updates to senior leadership, translating technical concepts into business‑relevant insights
