Our utilities client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee the end to end delivery of medium to large application-focused IT initiatives across multiple business units (Hybrid, Edmonton AB).

Overview:

This role will support a portfolio of 2026-2027 initiatives that may include upgrades to existing COTS and custom applications, mobile application development, and new software implementations. The ideal candidate is a versatile PM capable of picking up projects mid-stream and driving them through successful completion across diverse delivery environments.

Must-Haves:

• 7+ years of IT Project Management experience
• Experience delivering medium to large IT projects ($250K-$5M), including multiple projects >$2M (budgets should be listed)
• Strong experience managing application-focused initiatives (COTS upgrades, custom apps, mobile, or new software implementations)
• Proven ability to manage project financials, forecasting, and budget control
• Experience delivering clear project documentation and executive-level communication
• Ability to manage scope, change control, and governance effectively
• Experience picking up projects mid-stream and driving to completion
• Strong stakeholder management across business, IT, and vendors

Nice-to-Haves:

• PMP certification
• Previous Business Analyst experience
• Experience with business process re-engineering initiatives
• Change management experience
• Experience contributing to PM methodology or process improvements

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing Medium to Large IT projects
