Our valued public sector client is hiring a Senior Project Manager to assist the Project Owner in managing daily activities on the Materiel Planning and Forecasting project.

Background:

The Department is replacing its outdated and costly legacy Materiel Planning & Forecasting (MP&F) tool with a modern SAP-based solution. This new system will integrate with existing SAP data, enhancing forecasting accuracy and aligning with policy and governance. The shift aims to standardize and streamline supply chain operations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of supplies.

Tasks:

• Provide support on daily project management activities including stakeholder management, risk management, schedule management (MS Project).
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop and provide briefing packages to Project Owner and Senior Management.
• Manage risk management process, issues and action items.
• Maintain project master register.
• Conduct project reviews and lessons learned.

Must Haves:

• Relevant certification (PMP, or Prince2, etc.)
• Secret Clearance

Nice to Haves:

• SAP knowledge/experience
• Supply Chain projects
