Senior Programmer Analyst to enhance and migrate an Enterprise Knowledge Management System using Python scripts and PowerShell in the public sector - 064

Our public sector client requires a Secret cleared Senior Programmer Analyst to design, enhance and migrate an Enterprise Knowledge Management System to modern cloud platforms using Python scripts and PowerShell. The resource will be responsible for assisting in providing a collaborative, agile and scalable website that is fully automated and accessible in both classified and unclassified environments.

Located and performed on-site in a secure environment in central Ottawa.

Job Tasks:

• Automate routine operations management activities including developing scripts to produce applications, dashboards and websites for the end user and dynamically balancing the demand for a service across multiple devices to enhance performance using power automation for dashboards and other situational awareness tools.
• Use Python scripts and PowerShell for current applications and to automate new applications by modernizing legacy programs/applications to align with current capabilities and integration requirements
• Engage with the Knowledge Manager to ensure the team has reliable and up to date knowledge to share information and enable effective and timely decision making
• Increase visibility, accessibility and usage of national knowledge base by working with stakeholders to update or upgrade current Knowledge Management System and onboarding new services using Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Migration and automation of contents and dashboards from current environment or platforms to new ones

Must Have:

• Secret clearance
• Experience with Python scripts
• Experience with automation and scripting using PowerShell
• Experience with solution or system design for knowledge/content management systems.
• Experience integrating cloud-based systems and APIs in secure enterprise environments.
