Our client is looking for a Senior Product Owner with strong Data & Analytics (Databricks, Oracle, PowerBI) background to manage product backlog on Data Intelligence platform

Must be onsite 2 days/week at Calgary or Edmonton location

Must Haves:

• 5+ years in Product Owner or senior BA roles within data/analytics platforms.
• Strong experience as a Product Owner or Senior BA in data/analytics environments.
• Familiarity with Databricks/EDL, Oracle FDI/FAW, and Power BI.
• Agile certifications (CSPO/PSPO) preferred.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and backlog management skills.
• Familiar with Databricks/EDL, Oracle FDI/FAW, Power BI; basics of data modeling and cloud; Jira/Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities:

Backlog Ownership: Author/refine epics, features, and user stories with explicit acceptance criteria, data contracts, and non‑functional requirements.

• Sprint Cadence & Ceremonies: Participate in sprint planning, daily scrums, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Backlog Hygiene & Prioritization: Maintain backlog, manage dependencies, and balance priorities.
• Release & Change Management: Define increment and release goals, publish release notes, and coordinate platform changes.
• Engineering & QA Collaboration: Align with data engineers and BI teams; support UAT and production acceptance.
• Delivery Metrics & Transparency: Track and act on velocity, throughput, WIP, lead time, and adoption metrics.
