Our valued Public Sector Client is looking for an Senior Product Owner to lead, prioritize and ensure operational/strategic objectives are met.

The work performed under this contract will consist of supporting the Digital Hub in the design, prototyping, development, operation, scaling and sustainment of cloud-based software applications developed following an Agile methodology and leveraging DevOps processes.

Responsibilities:

• The Product Owner’s activities may include, but are not limited to the following:
• Direct Engineer/Development and Support Resources;
• Create, manage and plan product backlog, including Epic-, Feature- and User Story-levels;
• Order and prioritize items within product backlog;
• Create user stories and plan features based on stakeholder requirements;
• Bring business problems/strategic questions to Technical Authority or their representative for refinement and direction;
• Provide business/operational/strategic context to user stories/product development;
• Coordinate with Product Manager to ensure resources allocated are sufficient to meet demands;
• Coordinate with Product Manager to plan for onboarding and scaling activities for selected applications, including identifying future resources that may be required;

Must Haves:

• Project Manager 5+years
• Agile Scrum 5+years
• Azure DevOps or JIRA 2+years
• Degree or Diploma in Engineering or Science Stream
