Our public utilities client is seeking a: Senior Procurement Advisor to lead procurement and sourcing on behalf of business units - 01095

Lead procurement initiatives and sourcing strategy delivery for projects across various business units.

12 months contract to start, 40 hours/week, Hybrid 2 days/week onsite in Burnaby.

Must Haves

• 5 years of experience in sourcing, category management, or procurement in large organizations
• Experience leading complex procurement initiatives involving multiple stakeholder groups
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of public sector procurement processes and law
• Experience developing and executing sourcing strategies or category plans

Nice to Have

• Advanced education or certification in supply chain or procurement
• Experience with infrastructure or capital project sourcing
• Project management credentials
• Familiarity with supplier relationship management practices

Responsibilities could include:

• Design and implement procurement and sourcing strategies across business units
• Lead RFP development, evaluation, and negotiation
• Plan and manage sourcing projects with defined risk and complexity
• Develop category plans aligned to organizational goals and standards
• Resolve escalated supplier and contract issues efficiently
• Coordinate stakeholder input and ensure timely communication of outcomes
• Support ongoing supplier relationship management and performance reporting
