Our banking client is seeking a Senior Network Automation Engineer (10+ yrs) to automate network lifecycle management using Cisco Catalyst Center and Nexus Dashboard (Remote) [2026-43]

This role focuses on software-defined network modernization and automated firmware lifecycle management using Cisco Catalyst Center and Nexus Dashboard. The position delivers large-scale network upgrade orchestration while maintaining compliance and operational continuity through automated playbooks and analytics.

Must Haves

• 10+ years in enterprise networking focused on software-defined architectures and automated lifecycle management
• Strong scripting proficiency in Python with Ansible or Terraform for network automation
• Advanced expertise in Cisco Catalyst Center and Cisco Nexus Dashboard including NDFC and Insights
• Deep knowledge of BGP, OSPF, VxLAN EVPN, and Cisco ACI for enterprise architecture design
• Valid Cisco CCNP certification

Nice to Have

• Experience with F5 load-balancers and Palo Alto firewalls
• Preferred certifications: Cisco Certified DevNet Associate/Professional

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute automated firmware lifecycle management across campus and data center environments
• Audit network infrastructure for vulnerabilities and map findings to automated remediation tracks
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code patching playbooks and templates integrated with Cisco APIs
• Configure network health validation using telemetry and routing analytics tools before and after patching
• Orchestrate change windows using zero-touch upgrade pipelines ensuring minimal downtime
• Manage policy and fabric compliance through centralized controllers ensuring software-defined governance
• Modernize existing CLI network upgrade procedures into automated CI/CD-style workflows
• Collaborate with NetDevOps and Cyber Security teams to align automation initiatives with enterprise mandates
