Our client is seeking a Senior Marketing Data Analyst to support the Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Marketing Analytics initiative

Join a key data and analytics initiative within a high-profile public sector environment focused on strengthening marketing data quality, governance, and analytical usability. This role supports the transition to Salesforce Marketing Cloud by evaluating data sources, documenting requirements, and ensuring marketing data accuracy across reporting and campaign execution. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally to align business and technology stakeholders on data governance and operational readiness. This engagement represents a priority initiative within the client’s data modernization program.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze marketing and customer data to identify patterns, completeness, and quality concerns impacting campaign execution and reporting
  • Profile datasets and document business rules, definitions, and data requirements
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to clarify data sources, flows, and governance priorities
  • Support development of marketing data governance documentation and practical reporting artefacts
  • Validate data structures and support issue resolution ensuring consistency across SFMC data environments
  • Contribute to alignment of business, analytics, and technology teams on marketing data deliverables and improvements


Must Haves

  • Security clearance at the Reliability level
  • Minimum 2 years performing data analysis and data profiling using SQL and Python to assess quality, completeness, and reporting needs
  • Proficiency in data governance and data quality management, including data standards, stewardship, ownership models, issue resolution, and governance processes
  • Requirements gathering and documentation for data, reporting, and business processes across cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work with stakeholders across business, operations, analytics, and technology teams to translate governance needs into practical deliverables
  • Knowledge of marketing / CRM / contact data domains, including governance of customer and marketing data elements.
  • Understanding of data platform and governance tooling such as Microsoft Purview, enterprise data platforms/catalogues (Azure, Snowflake), and data management frameworks.

Nice to Have

  • Prior work on SFMC implementation in a Data capacity
