Senior Manager to lead the development and execution of their enterprise Power Platform strategy

Our valued client is looking for a Senior Manager to lead the development and execution of their enterprise Power Platform strategy


This position is a two-year term


Hybrid: 2 days a week in Ottawa

Responsibilities:

  • Define and maintain the Power Platform vision and roadmap aligned with business priorities.
  • Lead the Power Platform Centre of Excellence (CoE) and drive platform adoption.
  • Design and implement a governance framework (environment strategy, DLP policies, security guardrails) and a scalable operational model for platform support and lifecycle management.
  • Lead a cross-functional team of platform admins, developers, and business stakeholders.
  • Foster a citizen developer community through training, engagement, and enablement programs.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity, architecture, and IT operations to ensure platform integrity.
  • Monitor platform usage, performance, and compliance using CoE Toolkit.


Must Have:

  • Must be eligible for Enhance Reliability (5+ years in Canada)
  • 3-5+ years in a leadership role managing teams (application development teams or Power Platform (Power Apps) teams)
  • Implementing and actively managing the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages).
  • Experience with Microsoft Dataverse, CI/CD pipelines, and governance tooling.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
  • Power Platform governance (RACI models, DLP policies, environment strategies).
  • Roadmap creation, stakeholder engagement, and change management.


Nice-to-Have:

  • College diploma or certificate in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Microsoft Power Platform certifications (PL-900, PL-600, MS-900)
  • Bilingual (English and French) an asset
