Our public sector client requires a Secret cleared Senior Java Developer to assist in the development of applications that interact with an Oracle and SQL Server backend. The client offers distinct programs and products that in order to be effective and efficient must be supported by an integrated infrastructure of common enabling applications. The client needs to reduce and rationalize its systems to improve ability to empower government departments in the staffing delegation.

Responsibilities:

• Use Agile approach for creation and modification of application software that defines development sprint;
• Implement WEB experience Toolkit (WET) guidelines into existing public facing web application;
• Write Java code-based application using Spring Framework
• Write code using client-side scripting languages such as JavaScript, CSS3, and Angular;
• Develop web page using HTML5;
• Develop applications that interact with an Oracle or SQL Server backend;
• Develop RESTful web services applications and micro services in Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) environment;

Must have:

• Secret clearance
• Experience developing components using Spring Framework
• Experience developing RESTful web services
• Experience with SQL
• Education: Computer Science Engineering or Management Information Systems degree

Nice to have:

• Oracle experience
