Our valued public sector client is hiring a Senior Information Management Business Analyst to support information management modernization, process optimization, and digital enablement initiatives.


Background


The organization is undertaking a broad digital transformation to modernize how information is governed, managed, and operationalized across the enterprise. This includes replacing legacy, manual processes with standardized, workflow-enabled solutions that align with enterprise digital strategy, information governance frameworks, and records management best practices. A key focus is embedding clear, repeatable, and user-friendly information management processes into modern collaboration and automation platforms to improve efficiency, compliance, and digital stewardship.


Tasks


  • Assess and map current-state information management business processes, identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and governance challenges.
  • Design streamlined, future-state workflows aligned with digital strategy, policy requirements, and information lifecycle management best practices.
  • Conduct options and gap analyses to evaluate process optimization and automation opportunities.
  • Engage stakeholders through interviews and workshops to validate findings and build consensus on proposed changes.
  • Develop a phased implementation roadmap, including dependencies, timelines, and change management considerations.
  • Design and document workflow-enabled solutions using modern collaboration and automation tools (e.g., Microsoft 365).
  • Support configuration, testing, and piloting of process automation solutions.
  • Prepare briefings, reports, and visual materials to communicate findings, recommendations, and progress to leadership.


Must Haves


  • Strategic IM Analysis (Federal) - 5+ years
  • M365 (SharePoint Online, MS Teams, Power Automate) - 3+ years
