Senior IM Consultant to assist with the configuration of governance using Microsoft Purview in the public sector.

Our public sector client requires a Secret cleared Senior IM consultant to assist with configuring data governance using Microsoft Purview. The resource will be responsible for assisting management with IM and governance.

Responsibilities:

• Lead or support the configuration and rollout of Microsoft Purview as the department’s information governance tool.
• Establish and implement information management policies, metadata models, data classification, retention labels, and lifecycle controls using Purview.
• Coordinate with stakeholders across ECCC to align IM practices with departmental goals, especially with regard to data security, compliance, privacy, and regulatory standards.
• Work alongside the existing Change Management team to ensure successful adoption of new IM governance processes.
• Provide expert guidance on enterprise data governance frameworks and help shape IM governance strategies across the department.

Must have:

• Experience with Microsoft Purview
• Secret clearance

Nice to have:

• ECCC experience
