Location: Montreal, Quebec City, or Saint-Hyacinthe (2 days/week onsite mandatory)

Overview

Our client is seeking Guidewire Developers and/or Java Developers to support ongoing initiatives within their technology team. Candidates with strong backend development experience are required, with Guidewire being highly preferred.

Must Haves:

• Proven experience as a Guidewire Developer OR strong Java development experience with Spring / Spring Boot
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining backend applications
• Solid understanding of software development best practices (coding, debugging, testing)
• Ability to work onsite 2 days/week in one of the Quebec offices (Montreal, Quebec City, or Saint-Hyacinthe)
• Strong communication skills with ability to work in a team environment
• Functional bilingualism (French and English) or willingness to work in a bilingual environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with Guidewire platform (BillingCenter)
• Front-end experience with Angular
• Experience working in the insurance industry
• Exposure to Agile environments

• Open to candidates across junior, intermediate, and senior levels
• This is a hands-on development role (not suitable for Business Analysts or non-technical profiles)
