Our Vancouver client is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to support enablement and delivery of data platform (e.g., data warehouse) for the project's analytics use. - 0145938

1 year contract, 3 days/week in office.

Must Have:

6+ years of experience as Data engineer establishing the end-to-end data for the project's analytics pipeline including ingesting data from a variety of data sources (e.g., SNOW, Dynatrace, AzDO) and creating datasets for analytics and reporting purposes.

Experience with ServiceNow, Dynatrace, Azure DevOps

Experience with data ingestion (including API integration exp), SQL (Stored procedures), data modelling, data transformation

Expertise in Power Query (M) for data cleansing, transformation, and building reusable dataflows.

Experience with reporting and analytics tools, dashboards, visualizations tailored to executive and dynamics KPIs

Experience designing optimized data models and star schemas for high-performance reporting.

Ability to implement row-level security and manage workspace permissions in Power BI Service.

Advanced DAX skills to create complex measures, calculated tables, and dynamic KPIs.

Familiarity with performance tuning techniques (aggregations, incremental refresh, query folding).
