Description
Our valued public sector clients are looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant to conduct level 1 and level 2 government contractor security assessments.
Background:
The purpose for the Assessment Team will be to ensure that companies hired by the government are adhering to the mandatory Information Technology (IT) Security Requirements included in their contract, and will have the authority to provide the “Level 3 Canadian Program Cybersecurity Certificate” (CP-CSC). This must be achieved through a formalized assessment process, and experienced assessors are needed to perform these assessments.
Tasks May Include:
- Analyze security policies, system security plans, and compliance documentation relevant to CP-CSC requirements.
- Perform system evaluations, vulnerability scans, and on-site inspections to verify implementation of required security controls.
- Identify compliance gaps and offer actionable remediation steps aligned with CP-CSC standards.
- Perform spot checks on key systems to validate security configuration and minimal technical safeguards.
- Execute vulnerability scans, access control verification, and endpoint security checks across relevant systems.
Must Haves:
- SA&A - 10+ years
- Cybersecurity Risk Management - 10+ years
- Relevant Security Certification (CMMC, CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, etc.)
- ITSG-33 security controls
