Our Oil and Gas client is seeking a Senior Contract Advisor to assist with managing the entire contract lifecycle, from drafting and negotiation to execution and compliance of Maintenance Services

Candidates will be in-office 5 days/week in downtown Calgary

Must haves:

• 8+ years of experience as a Contract Advisor or Contract Management Analyst focusing on Maintenance Services contractors (Mechanical, Industrial Cleaning, Rotating, E&I Services)
• Experience in Contract Law and Oil and Gas Industry standards
• Excellent negotiation skills within a procurement and contract Law

Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including service agreements, supply contracts, and other legal documents.
• Ensure all contracts comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage the contract lifecycle, including renewals, amendments, and terminations.
• Collaborate with legal, procurement, and other departments to address contract-related issues.
• Maintain accurate records of all contracts and related documentation.
• Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on contract management processes.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for contract-related risks.
• Monitor contract performance and ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
• Resolve contract disputes and issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Stay updated with changes in laws and regulations affecting contracts and procurement.
