Seeking a Senior Business Analyst with strong OT (Operational Technology) experience to lead requirements, testing, and implementation support for cybersecurity and network monitoring initiatives within pipeline operations.

Work Environment:

• On site - 4 days per week
• Calgary

Must Have:

• Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst on complex system implementations for regulated or critical infrastructure environments (preferrable Pipeline, Energy, Utilities, Industrial).
• Strong experience working in OT (Operational Technology) environments, with exposure to industrial control systems (e.g., SCADA or similar)
• Demonstrated experience delivering current state to future state analysis and detailed requirements documentation
• Hands-on experience creating test plans, test cases, and supporting UAT execution
• Experience working on infrastructure, network, or system implementation projects
• Ability to engage directly with field operations teams and translate business needs into technical solutions
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build credibility and trust in operational environments

Nice to have:

• Exposure to OT cybersecurity initiatives (e.g., vulnerability management, patching, network monitoring)
• Familiarity with tools such as CrowdStrike (or similar), though tool-specific experience is not required
• Experience with network monitoring or detection platforms (NDR or similar)
• Understanding of IT/OT convergence
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISA/IEC)

More about the role:

The first project involves implementing a vulnerability and patch management solution across OT systems. The second focuses on the replacement of a network detection and monitoring platform.

This role will lead current state to future state analysis, requirements gathering, and play a key role in test planning, test case creation, and UAT execution. Given the impact to critical infrastructure, this position requires a highly experienced BA who is comfortable working in operational environments and partnering closely with field teams.

Success in this role will depend on strong stakeholder engagement, particularly the ability to build trust with operations teams and translate complex technical changes into practical, field-ready solutions.
