Senior Business Analyst to support stakeholder engagement and business requirements management for an EMS electronic patient care reports (ePCR) project for a healthcare client
Join a high-impact provincial initiative improving digital reporting for Emergency Medical Services across Saskatchewan. This role validates functional requirements, collaborates with vendors and stakeholders, and manages testing and issue resolution for the ePCR implementation. The successful candidate will contribute directly to the enhancement of healthcare delivery through the modernization of patient care data handling. This project offers significant exposure within the provincial health system and complex, multi-stakeholder coordination.
Remote, occasional travel to Saskatchewan.
Must Haves
- Minimum 7 years in business analysis roles
- Healthcare experience with clinical application implementation within the past 5 years
- Application experience with Medusa Siren
- A Diploma/Degree in Canadian Health Informatics, Computer Science, or Information Technology
Nice to Have
- Experience working with Saskatchewan Emergency Medical Services in Ground Ambulance, Community Paramedicine, and Air Ambulance workstreams
- Ability to translate business requirements into specifications, data flows, and clinical workflows
- Experience on at least three provincial healthcare implementations in Canada
- Strong communication and facilitation experience with diverse clinical and administrative stakeholders
- Proven ability to build capacity in clients’ knowledge and use of implemented solutions
Responsibilities
- Elicit, document, and validate requirements and presentations for multiple audiences including senior leaders
- Develop test strategies, plans, and coordinate testing activities
- Write, proofread, and edit technical and end-user material ensuring clarity and accuracy
- Facilitate support discussions with multi-disciplinary stakeholders and document shared knowledge
- Drive issue resolution activities across vendor and client teams
- Provide remote and onsite go-live support in healthcare and EMS facilities throughout Saskatchewan
