Our valued Public Sector client requires a Senior Business Analyst to support a stakeholders with process mapping, requirement elicitation and managing user stories in the public sector.

Responsibilities:

• Problem Definition: Articulate the business problem, operational impact, and objectives. 1-2 page document or slide deck stating core problem, impacts (e.g., cost/revenue loss), and high-level goals.
• Current State Process Analysis: Map workflows, identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies. Establish improvement baseline. Process maps with annotated bottlenecks, metrics, and summary report .
• Stakeholder Mapping: Identify and categorize stakeholders by power/interest. Prioritize engagement strategies. Power/Interest matrix listing stakeholders, roles, and engagement plans.
• Stakeholder Requirements: Gather and prioritize needs via interviews/workshops. Translate to verifiable requirements. Requirements catalog with prioritized business needs from interviews/workshops.
• Functional and Non-Functional Requirements: Specify system features (functional) and qualities (non-functional: performance, security).
• Use Cases and Scenarios: Detail user-system interactions, preconditions, steps, and exceptions. Validate via simulations. Use case diagrams and textual narratives (templates with actors, preconditions, steps, exceptions).
• Collaborate closely with UI/UX teams, demonstrating a strong understanding of their value in enhancing user experience, driving intuitive design decisions, and aligning product functionality with user needs.

Must Have:

• 10+ years experience working as a Business Analyst
• Minimum 5 years experience gathering requirements from multiple teams across different departments/regions
• Business process modeling and mapping
• Valid Enhanced Reliability Clearance
