Our public sector client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to assist with implementing software solutions (COTS and in-house) within a transportation portfolio

Candidates must be located in Calgary, Hybrid work model of in-office and remote. 37.5 hour work week.

Must haves:

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst with a focus on large scale software package application solutions (COTS or custom in-house)
• 5+ years of experience working with design considerations and implementation timelines
• 5+ years of experience in an analyst role demonstrating the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information

Nice to haves:

• Previous experience as a Software Developer, or in a Technical role
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will gather requirements, recommend options, perform technical analysis, and assist in software solution implementation. They will ensure smooth and timely delivery and transition to support teams, facilitate requirements gathering sessions, assist in project planning and estimating, conduct knowledge transfer, provide status reporting, and communicate with a broad spectrum of stakeholders.
