Our valued public sector client is seeking an experienced Senior Bilingual Database Analyst / Information Management Administrator (10+ years) to support enterprise data warehousing and business intelligence initiatives to support enterprise data warehousing and business intelligence initiatives.

Description:

The successful candidate will contribute to the design, development, and optimization of large-scale data solutions, integrating data from multiple internal and external sources into centralized platforms. The role requires strong SQL and ETL expertise, database administration skills, and the ability to work within Agile delivery teams to support ongoing transformation and modernization efforts. The candidate will also provide support for database operations, performance optimization, and advanced data quality measures, including fuzzy matching, audit monitoring, and text analysis techniques.

This role requires demonstrated experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, engaging with stakeholders to gather requirements, and delivering scalable, high-performance data solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Must haves:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in database administration and maintenance (MS SQL Server 2005+ or Oracle 8i+), including performance tuning, security management, and backup/recovery.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in MS SQL Server developing Transact-SQL scripts for ETL processes, data transformation, and performance-optimized queries.
• Minimum 5 years of experience using Azure DevOps or JIRA for task tracking, backlog management, and Agile delivery support.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with Git (branching strategies, code reviews, and collaborative workflows).
• Bilingual proficiency in English and French (spoken and written).

Nice to haves:

• 15+ years experience in MS SQL Server or Oracle with a focus in designing and optimizing database structures to improve performance and efficiency.
• 1+ years experience loading data from Dynamics CRM into Azure database using KingswaySoft
• 15+ years+ practical experience with ETL tools and workflows, including loading complex datasets into enterprise data environments.
• 10+ years Hands-on expertise in database tuning, indexing strategies, and query optimization.
• Exposure 12+months using Apex SQL Audit and RedGate Toolbelt
• 10+ years Experience designing and deploying enterprise-scale data warehouse solutions ensuring scalability, performance, and system integration.
• Experience analyzing business data, designing data models, and ensuring data accuracy and integrity throughout the lifecycle.
• Experience using Database Audit and Monitoring tools (e.g., Apex SQL Audit, RedGate Toolbelt).
• 5+ years Hands-on experience implementing fuzzy text matching and SQL-based solutions to resolve duplicate or similar records.
• 2+ years experience designing and implementing cloud-native data architectures in high-availability environments (Azure, GCP, etc.).
