S.i. Systems client is looking for a Senior AI Product Owner who can work directly with the business, help evaluate AI use cases, and support the setup of an internal AI enablement practice
6 month contract to start. Hybrid model in Richmond.
Must Haves:
- 7+ years in Product Ownership, Product Management, Senior Business Analysis, Program/Project Management, or similar roles where the led business facing initiatives
- 2+ years of hands on applied AI experience focused on business use cases, benefit measurement, and helping teams adopt tools like GPT or Copilot
- Strong change management and stakeholder enablement ability, with a proven track record driving training, communication, and adoption activities across non technical business groups.
- Strong ability to work with business stakeholders (not purely technical).
Description:
The client is running a 6 month AI pilot. The goal is to prove the value and efficiency gains of AI tools (GPT and Copilot). We need a senior functional resource who can work directly with the business, help evaluate AI use cases, and support the setup of an internal AI enablement practice. This is not a technical development role. It’s a business-focused, product owner style role with a mix of project management, change management, training, and benefit measurement. .
Key Responsibilities:
- AI Use Case Evaluation
- Work with business teams to capture current workflows.
- Document how AI tools will be used in each use case.
- Identify, measure, and report efficiency gains.
- Support the hiring manager in preparing the final pilot report (due mid July).
- Build the AI Enablement Function • Help stand up an internal AI enablement team.
- Support creation of: o Policies o Standards o Training materials o Communication plans
- Change management processes
- Work closely with internal Communications and Learning & Development teams.
- Product Ownership & Business Engagement
- Act as a functional lead and product owner for AI initiatives.
- Ensure business readiness and adoption.
- Coordinate activities across teams using mostly internal resources.
- Support ongoing alignment with SMT (senior management team).
AI may be used in evaluating candidates.
