SAP - Data Conversion and Master Data Governance Lead responsible for leading the successful design and delivery of SAP Data Management solutions

The SAP Data Management Lead is responsible for leading the successful design and delivery of SAP Data Management solutions for our client. The data management and Governance consultant will define strategies, develop, and deliver solutions that enable the collection, processing and management of information from one or more sources, and the subsequent delivery of information to audiences in support of key business processes. This position provides leadership and oversight of the Data Conversion and Governance objectives and policies and procedures.

Duration - 6 months plus extension

Project Duration - 2 years

Work Mode - 3 days per week on site in Markham Ontario

Qualifications:

· Have 10+ years of experience to oversee the end-to-end data conversion process including identifying sources, extracting data, suggesting cleansing, and manage mapping during the conversion process.

· Have extensive knowledge about data life cycle management.

· Experience in complex SAP environments supporting multiple components preferred.

· Have at least 3 SAP (ECC & ISU ) Data Migration end-to-end implementations experience, including strategy design, and tools implementation.

· Have experience of at least one end-to-end to archiving Implementation to archive the legacy and SAP data after data migration.

· Have deep knowledge about data conversion best practices as per industry standard and have minimum three end-to-end implementation experience.

· Have experience to manage and coordinate the Mock data load process for SAP implementations especially for Utility Clients.

· Have experience in preparing data cutovers and mock plans and have knowledge about data load sequence and suggest optimized plan to reduce downtime production load.

· Have experience in defect management and reporting.

· Have strong data migration project management experience including mock cutover planning and tracking, reporting, team management, RAID management, defect management.

Skills -

· Have experience to perform the data assessment as per industry best practices and suggest the data remediation process.

· Have SAP Process (SAP IS-U, Finance, EAM, SCM) knowledge both techno and functional and Data Model knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA and SAP S/4 ISU Data.

· Have skill to report and raise RAID items to PMO for smooth go live.

· Experience in the design and implementation of SAP's ETL solutions such as SAP BODS, SAP DMC and SAP LSMW, and additionally integration technologies such as IDOCs and BAPIs.

· Have hands-on experience in the design and implementation of SAP's ETL solutions using SAP Data Migration tools including but not limited to SAP HANA SDI/SDQ, SAP data service (BODS), EMIGALL, SAP Data Migration Cockpit, LSMW, SAP ALE (IDOC) and custom BAPI/ABAP programs/Function Module.

· Have experience in at least two MDG data domains to implement the processes, this includes, converting core S/4 HANA box to MDG, activating required Business functions and plugin, data modeling, process modeling, UI Modeling, Workflow design and Data validation and Substitution either using SAP provided BADI or BRF+.

· Proficiency in SQL and database schema design is must. Excellent experience in helping team to design complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and PL/SQL

· Have designed the architect for tool setup related data migration like HANA SDI/SDQ, BODS

· Have designed the Coding and Development standards for data migration.

· Have proficiency in debugging and suggesting the team about remediation.

· Have experience in anyone programing language like SAP ABAP, Python

· Have excellent skill to collaborate with functional consultants to verify data and troubleshoot/correct errors.
