Power Platform Developer to support the development and deployment of automation applications and workflows (e.g. Power Apps/Automate) for a not-for-profit

Our valued not-for-profit client is seeking a Senior Power Platform Developer to support the development and deployment of automation applications and workflows (e.g. Power Apps/Automate)!

Initial 6 months in Ottawa, ON, with possibility of extension. Candidates with the ability to work on-site downtown Ottawa will be prioritized. 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Develop custom applications using Power Apps to address business requirements.
• Automate workflows using Power Automate to enhance operational efficiency.
• Create interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI for data visualization and insights.
• Provide training and support to end-users for the implemented solutions.
• Analyze datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights.

Must Have Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Microsoft Power Platform, including hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Copilot Studio.
• Demonstrated success in delivering solutions that meet business requirements and drive efficiency.
• Proven track record of successfully completing projects from requirements gathering through deployment and support.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Proven experience in analyzing complex datasets, developing data models, and deriving actionable insights.
• Strong knowledge of and experience with Azure data services and tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL Database, Microsoft Fabric).
