Junior to Intermediate Network Analyst to support Wireless Oil & Gas Field Site Operations in Fort McMurray

Our large Oil & Gas client is seeking a Junior to Intermediate Network Analyst to support Wireless Oil & Gas Field Site Operations in Fort McMurray. This is an initial 6 to 12-months contract with a strong possibility of renewal.

The successful candidate will already be based in Fort McMurray and be open to a 7x7 12-hours shift. Additionally, can expect to work a rotating Day Shift (DS) and Night Shift (NS).

Must-Haves:

• 1-5 years' of network infrastructure experience (or, a new grad with Cisco and networking education/certifications)
• Cisco networking certification (CCNA, CCNP, CWNA, CCENT, CWENT) and a computer science degree/technical college diploma
• Valid drivers license and comfortable learning to drive in a mining environment

Nice-to-Haves:

• Oil & Gas field/mining/site experience
• Wireless networking (Wi-Fi) experience within an enterprise environment (industrial wireless networks in layer 1, layer 2 and layer 3 networks)
