Junior Recruiter to support end-to-end recruitment across retail service, sales, and branch management roles- 40660


Location Address: Remote sourcing role supporting candidates across Canada.

  • Candidates based in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) are expected to be onsite 3 days per week at 44 King
  • Candidates located near major cities or urban centres may be invited to attend occasional in-person team meetings
  • Preference for at least one resource based in the Toronto/GTA region
  • Geographic distribution across time zones is considered an asset to support candidate engagement nationwide


Contract Duration: 6 months (Potential for extension and/or conversion to full-time employment, based on performance and business needs)

Schedule Hours: 8:30am-5pm Monday-Friday - Flexible scheduling within a 37.5-hour work week



Story Behind the Need

Business group: Global Talent Acquisition - this team supports high-volume recruitment for retail banking roles across Canada. Hiring includes Service roles (e.g., Tellers); Sales roles (e.g., Financial and Business Advisors); Branch management positions

Project/Reason for request: Due to a significant nationwide backlog of service and sales roles, driven by a transition from controlled hiring to an approved headcount (auto-hire) model, additional recruitment support is required to meet demand.


Typical Day in Role:

• Support end-to-end recruitment across retail service, sales, and branch management roles

• Support high-volume hiring by addressing backlog driven by increased demand and hiring model changes

• Source qualified candidates across key markets using LinkedIn and other sourcing platforms

• Conduct pre-screening assessments and advance suitable candidates to business line interviews

• Partner with recruiters who manage hiring manager relationships to align on candidate needs

• Collaborate with hiring managers on candidate shortlists and hiring decisions

• Manage and track candidate pipelines with strong organization and attention to detail

• Coordinate interview logistics and support overall interview process execution

• Assist in offer management in collaboration with assigned recruiters

• Maintain a strong focus on delivering an exceptional candidate experience

• Participate in regular check-ins with leadership to review hiring volumes, progress, and priorities

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:

1) 3+ years of experience as a Recruiter

2) Hands-on experience sourcing and pre-screening candidates using typical sourcing tools (e.g. LinkedIn, Indeed)

3) Experience using an ATS (e.g. SAP SuccessFactors)

4) Proficiency with MS suite: Excel (tracking capabilities, summarize data), MS Teams, Outlook


Nice-To-Have Skills:

1) Experience with recruiting for client-facing retail banking roles or adjacent FI industries (insurance, investment)

2) Experience with in-person recruitment engagements (e.g. at a conference)

3) Bilingual in French
