Junior Data Scientist to utilize Python and apply Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Knowledge Graph's to process data through Large Language Models

Our Oil and Gas Client is seeking a Junior Data Scientist to utilize Python and apply Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Knowledge Graph's to process data through Large Language Models

Calgary-based office. Candidates will be working in-office 4 days/week in Calgary

Must haves:

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist (or Software Engineer) with a focus on Python Development
• Experience using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Knowledge Graph on unstructured data.
• Experience working with Large Language Models (LLM)
• Understanding of NLP libraries and framework, preferably LangChain and LangGraph.
• Experience with back-end coding and version control systems such as Git, deploying cloud-based application and developing using Object Relation Mapping frameworks.

Nice to haves:

• Experience developing chatbot and conversational AI.
• Frontend development experience using React using Typescript and Next JS.
