Junior Data Reporting Developer to maintain and build solutions based on business requests using Microsoft Azure Products, Power Platform, and Power BI

Our large energy client is seeking a Junior Data Reporting Developer to maintain and build solutions based on business requests using Microsoft Azure Products, Power Platform, and Power BI to start ASAP until Dec 31, 2024 with chance of extension or conversion to employee.

The successful candidate will be required to work 5 days/week in office in the heart of Downtown Calgary!

Must Have:

• 2+ years experience gathering reporting requirements from the business
• 2+ years' experience utilizing Microsoft Azure Data Products such as: Azure Data Factory, Logic App, Azure Data Lake
• 2+ years experience developing PowerBI reports and dashboards using DAX, Power Query
• 2+ years utilizing SQL for data analysis
• Any professional experience utilizing Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
• Programming skills in either VBA or Python

Nice-to-Haves:

• Trading and Risk Management Experience
• Experience working with the Agile methodology
• Oil and gas terminology knowledge
• An Understanding of SAP BW/S4 Hana and Data Integration Tools

Responsibilities:

• Review and validate data to maintain and build reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Power BI for ongoing existing reports and net new requests.
• Leverage Power Automate Flow and Power Apps for RDD's (Report Data Definition), automate workflows, and create efficiencies
