Our valued Public Sector Client needs an IT Security Analyst to be responsible for supporting the assessment, development, and implementation of information security practices across networks, systems, and applications. The resource will contribute to threat and risk assessments, development of security documentation, and delivery of security awareness and risk management sessions. The role also provides support during security certification activities and incident investigations during high-tempo operational periods.

Responsibilities:

• conducting threat and risk assessments of networks, systems, and applications
• providing security recommendations as part of risk assessments, including preparing and delivering formal reports.
• developing and delivering information sessions on risk management for networks, systems, and applications.
• drafting security policies, guidelines, procedures, and information packages
• developing IT security awareness materials and conducting awareness sessions.

Should have over 3 years experience:

• conducting threat and risk assessments
• providing security recommendations and delivering formal risk assessment reports
• developing and delivering information sessions on risk management
• drafting security policies, guidelines, procedures, and information packages
• developing IT security awareness materials and conducting awareness sessions
