IT Infrastructure Operations Manager to oversee day to day operations of all services and network services for a non-profit client

Our valued client is seeking a IT Infrastructure Operations Manager for a temporary backfill position

This is a temporary backfill position which starts as soon as possible, for an initial 4-5 month engagement, with possibility of further extension. The budgeted hourly rate for this role is $60.66/hr for a t4 contractor.

Key Responsibility Areas

• Accountable for the day-to-day operations of all services and network services including the installation, operation, and maintenance of hardware, software, and communications technologies.
• Oversee the service desk which is responsible for service delivery of technical support, problem determination, and resolution.
• Oversee Information Security including all platforms, services and managed service providers to ensure the security of the organization's information and technology assets.
• Lead a team of 15 full-time employees including:
• 1 Intermediate Systems and Network Admin
• 1 senior Systems and Network Admin
• 1 Content Services Admin
• 1 System Administrator (junior-intermediate)
• 1 Specialist (governance), ITS
• 1 Team Lead (of service desk personnel), with 7 indirect reports reporting to them on the service desk

Required Skills:

• Demonstrated experience as an IT Infrastructure Manager, Lead, or Helpdesk team lead
• Demonstrated experience supporting hybrid infrastructure leveraging both on-premises and cloud (ideally M365/Azure) technology
• Demonstrated experience in the following areas of expertise:
• Physical Infrastructure & Resilience
• Electronic & Digital Communications
• Service Desk & EndUser Services (M365, Azure)
• Service Management & ITSM Practices
• IT Project Oversight
• IT Contract Management
