Our Safety client is seeking a Intermediate Training Specialist (Emergency Response) to create tailored training programs and deliver in-person or virtual training sessions

Calgary based client. Candidates will be traveling within Alberta to client sites. Must have Valid drivers license

Must haves:

• 5+ years of experience as a Training Specialist or Safety Trainer focusing on Emergency Management, Occupational Health and Safety training
• Experience developing and delivering training programs for diverse audiences (In-person and virtual training)
• Valid drivers license and ability to travel within Alberta

Nice to haves:

• Valid certifications in emergency response or safety training.
• First Aid/CPR certification

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop comprehensive emergency response training programs tailored to various client needs and industries.
• Create training materials, including manuals, presentations, and hands-on exercises, ensuring they are up-to-date with current best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct engaging and effective training sessions for clients, utilizing a variety of instructional techniques and formats.
• Facilitate both in-person and virtual training sessions, adapting content and delivery methods to suit different learning environments.
• Plan and conduct emergency response drills and simulations to test and reinforce client preparedness.
• Evaluate the outcomes of drills and provide detailed reports with recommendations for improvement.
