Intermediate to Senior Construction Project Coordinator to support construction general contractor with subcontractor claims

Our client is seeking an Intermediate to Senior Construction Project Coordinator to support construction general contractor with subcontractor claims.

Onsite in Edmonton strongly preferred. Open to hybrid if willing to travel

Must Haves

• 4+ years' experience working on major or mega construction projects within a coordination, project controls and/or project administration role.
• Experience with procurement, design, technical and construction teams to process all changes to contracts, and alert relevant stakeholders of changes.
• Experience with subcontract administration with Joint Venture Contractors, Public-Private Partnership (P3) or public infrastructure projects.
• Understanding of trades and subtrades (i.e. electrical, concrete, civil,) and ability to converse with all levels of project staff in assigned area of responsibility
• Experience managing a range of construction claims such as change orders, delay, disruption and/or acceleration claims
• Post-secondary degree or diploma in administration, business, construction management or related field
