Our utilities client is seeking an Intermediate SharePoint Operations Analyst to support ongoing application operations and enhancements across multiple enterprise web platforms (Hybrid; Edmonton preferred).

Overview:

This role will support a centralized Web team responsible for maintaining and enhancing custom web applications, including internal and public websites, customer portals, and internal work management tools. The successful candidate will contribute to operational support, SharePoint solution development, and web application troubleshooting across a variety of initiatives planned through 2026.

Must-Haves:

• 5+ years of professional experience supporting Web Application Operations
• Demonstrated hands-on experience building solutions in an on-premise SharePoint 2019 environment using SharePoint, InfoPath, and SharePoint Designer
• Strong development experience using modern web technologies including .NET (Framework, Core, .NET 5+), Angular / AngularJS, ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and diagnose application, code, and web server issues
• Broad IT experience with strong understanding of web UI best practices
• Completion of a 4-year Computer Science or Engineering degree, or a 2-year Computer Engineering / System Technology diploma

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience writing PowerShell scripts
• Experience working with MS SQL and SQL Reporting Services
• Experience with M365 technologies including SharePoint Online, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
• Experience supporting SharePoint Online adoption initiatives

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for maintaining core custom web applications including public websites, internal portals, and operational tools
• Responsible for operational support including problem tickets, enhancements, and service requests
• Responsible for designing, proposing, and implementing SharePoint 2019 (on-prem) solutions to support tactical business initiatives
• Responsible for diagnosing and resolving application, code, and web server issues
• Responsible for supporting web-focused projects as a subject matter expert or direct contributor
• Responsible for delivering positive customer service experiences while working with business stakeholders
