Intermediate Scrum Master to coordinate stakeholders and run sprints for a data migration and sustainment initiative

Our valued client is looking for Intermediate Scrum Masters to coordinate with stakeholders and run sprints, ceremonies, etc. for data migration and sustainment initiatives

Location: Ottawa, Hybrid, 3-days/week

Tasks include:

• Work closely with the Product Owner to prioritize the product backlog based on business value and customer needs
• Facilitate Agile/Scrum Ceremonies and lead/organize team meetings focused on planning, progress updates, reviews, and retrospectives
• Remove Impediments, identifying and removing any obstacles that may hinder the team’s progress
• As priorities change, support re-prioritization efforts, coordinating with stakeholders, managing timelines, etc.
• Work on 2-week sprint basis, overseeing and understanding objectives to make sure work is completed and obstacles are removed
• Split time between a team responsible for sustainment and small enhancements to legacy data environment (on premise) and migration to cloud environment

Must have:

• Eligible for reliability clearance
• 7 years' experience as a Project Manager and/or Scrum Master, with recent experience as a Scrum Master
• Prior experience working on Database teams/projects
• Jira or Azure DevOps

Nice to have:

• Project Planning using MS Project
• Experience supporting the decommission of data marts, and supporting a move to cloud solutions (eg: Azure, Databricks, PowerBi, etc.)
