S.i. Systems financial client is looking for an Intermediate QA engineer to perform testing and support modernizing of multiple FX-related systems, including Spectrum (core FX platform), to enhance efficiency, integration, and customer experience across retail, small business, and commercial banking lines

Initial contract 6 months, strong possibilities of extensions. Remote - Preferred candidate location: Vancouver/ (work pst hours)

Must Have:

• 5+ years of experience as a QA Analyst or Tester within the banking or financial services domain.
• Strong knowledge of Foreign Exchange (FX) systems upgrade products, and transaction flows.
• Hands-on experience with Spectrum FX system (Or similar FX Systems / Platforms).
• Azure DevOps experience
• Solid understanding of end-to-end QA lifecycle and defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM, Zephyr).
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Perform end-to-end manual testing for FX applications, integrations, and related systems (primary focus on Spectrum).
• Develop, maintain, and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts aligned with business and system requirements.
• Conduct functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, and product owners to identify, document, and resolve defects.
• Support automation efforts where applicable (approx. 30% of testing scope).
• Ensure testing documentation and deliverables comply with internal QA standards and audit requirements.
• Participate in test data preparation and environment validation.
