Intermediate Project Manager to lead Structured Cabling project delivery

Our professional services client client is seeking a Project Manager to lead Structured Cabling project delivery

Oversee all phases of Structured Cabling projects from intake to delivery. Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on Excel, for project coordination and reporting. Ensure projects meet client

requirements and timelines in a just-in-time, multi-site environment.

Initial 1-year contract in Ottawa, Toronto, or Montreal. Hybrid: On-site 3 days/week. 7.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Lead project implementation, ensuring alignment with client and internal requirements
• Review and clarify drawings, specifications, and develop project scopes and estimates for Structured Cabling
• Oversee contractor performance to ensure timely project delivery within client schedules
• Manage material purchasing and just-in-time logistics
• Monitor project progress; identify and mitigate risks to minimize disruptions
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to resolve construction issues and manage scope changes
• Provide regular project updates, lead client meetings, and manage project reporting
• Oversee invoicing and revenue recognition to ensure cost alignment with budget and scope

Must Haves

• 3-5 years of project management experience related to Structured Cabling
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency, with strong Excel skills
• Construction management or PMP experience (asset)
• Strong leadership in multi-stakeholder environments

Nice to Have

• Bilingualism (French)
• Cabling or outside plant experience
• PMP designation
• BICSI credentials (RCDD, OSP, RTPM)
