Our client is seeking an Intermediate Project Manager to lead multiple large scale upgrade projects within billing system for our utilities client.

This role requires you to be onsite 3 days/week in Calgary

Must Haves

• 5+ years' experience as a Project Manager, leading large scale IT based projects
• Experience leading Agile and Waterfall based projects
• Must be able to lead third party vendors and communicate with senior level executives

Nice to have:

• Experience leading upgrade projects within a billing system (Rubix)
• Experience leading Salesforce projects

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple IT projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints, adhering to Project Delivery Office (PDO) standards.

• Partner with Project Sponsors and key stakeholders to create project charters and define critical deliverables in line with business goals.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including external vendors, to develop and implement integrated project management plans for large, complex projects.

• Define and manage project scope, deliverables, and milestones, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with business requirements.

• Maintain effective communication with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

• Manage and address changes to project scope, schedule, and cost, following governance protocols.

• Identify and escalate project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies to minimize impact.

• Ensure technical and organizational change management are integrated into the project execution process.

• Collaborate with Delivery Assurance Managers and business teams to ensure adequate resourcing for successful project delivery.

• Oversee third-party vendors and track progress against established milestones.
