Intermediate Network Analyst to support Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls across Oil Sand industrial sites (Fort McMurray)

Our large, enterprise Oil & Gas client is seeking an Intermediate Network Analyst to support Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls across Oil Sand industrial sites.

This is an initial contract to end of 2026 with a possibility of extension. The successful candidate will be based in Fort McMurray and agreeable to following a shift rotation. 7x7, 12-hour shifts. End of June will start rotational night shifts (once every six shifts).

Must-Haves:

• 5+ years of experience in core networking (troubleshooting, configuration, support)
• 3+ years' Cisco routing and switching experience
• Experience with Cisco firewalls (configuration and administration)
• Solid understanding of Nexus environments
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex network environments

Nice-to-Haves:

• Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine) experience
• Field/OT networking experience (automation, process control, oil sands, or similar environments)
• Broader industrial or mining industry experience
• IMS (Infrastructure Management Systems) knowledge

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide end-to-end network support across industrial sites
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex networking issues in a timely manner
• Configure, maintain, and optimize network infrastructure
• Support Cisco-based routing, switching, and firewall environments
• Work closely with field teams to ensure network reliability in remote locations
